With the healing properties of the cherries, this beverage is quite healthy, if it is drunk in a moderate amount.
Ingredients:
- 300 g seedless sour cherries
- 300 g sugar
- 300 ml rakija
Preparation:
- Put the cherries and the sugar in a glass bottle or a larger jar eventually. Add the rakija. The ratio of cherries, sugar and rakija is 1:1:1.
- Leave thus prepared liqueur on a direct sunlight for 40 days or more and occasionally shake it so the sugar would dissolve faster.
- After 40 days, you can drain the liquid or keep it as it is. It you think the liqueur is too thick , add some weaker rakija.
