Cucumber Yogurt (Tarator)
Traditional Albanian yogurt (Kos) is homemade, it
tastes the same as Greek yogurt and is really simple to make. This cucumber
yogurt is great as a side dip to any Albanian food, and a great way to have
something different then just plain.

Ingredients:

3 Cups Greek Yogurt

1/4 Cucumber (Peeled &
Grated)

1 Tbsp Olive Oil
-
1 Tsp Garlic Oil or 1 Garlic
Clove (Grated)

Salt
-
Mint (Optional)
Directions:
Mix the yogurt, cucumber, salt, olive oil, garlic oil
or garlic together in a bowl. Pour into a small pot ready for serving. Chill
for 15 Minutes before serving.
Optional:
For a
hint of mint in the cucumber yogurt, mix two mint leaves diced or a sprinkle of
dried mint into the mixture.
