Red Pepper Salad (Sallatë Speca i Kuq)
A great alternative salad, add the oil first and fry
- serve warm or cold. This red pepper salad works well with Albanian Lakror or
Pite.

Ingredients:

2 Red Peppers (Cubed)

1 Onion (Diced)

1 Tbsp Basil (Fresh)

Garlic Oil
-
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Pour a small amount of Garlic oil into a frying pan
and lightly fry the red pepper and onion for 5 minutes. Add the salt, pepper
and basil – stir well. Once the onion starts to brown remove from the heat and
put onto a serving dish. You can serve the red pepper salad warm or cold.
